37 Years Of Commitment To Quality

Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma annually helps build better lives for over 5,000 adults and children in communities throughout northeastern Oklahoma. Our commitment to quality is even stronger today than when we opened in 1982. We are the only Oklahoma community mental health center certified in the internationally recognized Sanctuary model of trauma-informed care.

The most important measure of quality comes from the people served. Our clients give us a 97 percent overall satisfaction rating. They also give us the highest compliment by referring others.

Outside organizations also acknowledge our quality. The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits chose Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma as a finalist for the Oklahoma Nonprofit Excellence (ONE) Award. Only 27 of Oklahoma’s more than 18,000 nonprofits were chosen as finalists. We won the Community Health Services division award, sponsored by the George Kaiser Family Foundation.

Our children’s and adult outpatient services, children’s and adults case management, physical health care management and wellness services (health home) and CALM Center, crisis stabilization for youth ages 10-17, are accredited by CARF International. This accreditation assures clients that we have met the highest quality standards.

We also are certified by and under contract with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to provide mental health and substance abuse services. This certification requires a commitment to quality care.

Finally, our agency was recertified in the Sanctuary Model in January 2018, showing our commitment to trauma-informed care and creating a safe environment for staff and clients.
